UvA/TUD topology exchange proposal

Hello all, During the meeting in Atlanta and in several of the NSI calls the University of Amsterdam and Delft University of Technology announced that they were also preparing a proposal for exchanging topologies combined with path finding. Attached to this mail is the document describing this topology exchange, and a small discussion on how we can apply it to the NSI work. Feel free to comment and ask questions. Link policy

All, I hear that (link) policy will in some shape and form be discussed in Uppsala. For your amusement, I'm forwarding a presentation I gave at the GLIF TECH meeting in January 2012. It's a problem statement, and I believe little have changes since then. The basic issue is still 1) describing policy, 2) having the mechanisms for enforcing it, *including* ability to delegate that enforcement (this is critical to be able to deploy links-with-policy to open exchanges etc). Hello All, I would like to remind everyone that the next face-to-face NSI meeting will be held on the 22nd September in Uppsala. To ensure that this meeting is productive we can only consider written proposals that have been submitted in advance of the meeting. To ensure that everyone has a chance to read through the proposals these should be sent to the NSI mailing list 2 weeks before the meeting.
