Hi all, and Jeroen and Roman in particular, I just pushed some changes to the subsection describing References, adding small diagram showing all cardinalities, and making a distinction between allowed and defined relations. Please check if there are no errors or omissions. Next up: I think most relations needs a slightly better descriptive text. Right now most relations just say there may be a relation between two objects, but don't tell what that relation means. Jeroen, commit 21dcef59 also closes the open artifact on inverse multiplexing adaptation functions. I think the existing text was already good, but I moved it from a footnote in De-Adaptation to the Adaptation description. Regards, Freek

Hi, I assume you mean the relations section :). Thanks for the changes, the small diagrams do make things clearer. I have a slight preference not to list the relation names in bold, since they already stand out in the diagram clearly, and bold text only makes it scream out even more. I think itemizing them with bullets would also help. I will try to work this week on adding some definitions to the relations that lack them still. Great! Then we've succesfully moved all artifacts from gridforge to redmine. Besides the relations definitions, there is one issue left that we still have to resolve: https://redmine.ogf.org/issues/50 – isReference & idRef I thought we closed this issue, but I don't remember what the exact outcome was now. Jeroen.

Nope, subsection ;P \subsection{Relations} \label{sub:relations}

Agreed. Another possible change is to make the diagrams have the same horizontal size. That may look better in a list. Both are simple changes in the \nmlrelation macro (line 548 of schema.tex). Feel free to push these changes, or ask my by chat for the exact changes to the macro (in case this is too much TeX on Monday morning. It's not so bad, though I ended up reading 3 chapters on the TeXBook, and I still don't really get the idea about commands like \leaders). PS: UML apparently uses a black triangle, and I couldn't find one in plain LaTeX. I finally found \blacktriangleright in the mathabx package. This was not installed by default on my systems, I had to install the texlive-fonts-extra on my Mac first. Freek

My understanding was that we were going to do nothing. In the future, we might support references via an extension, but for now, nothing. Cheers, Aaron TIP2013, University of Hawaii Mānoa January 13 - January 17, 2013, Honolulu, HI http://events.internet2.edu/2013/tip/
