I see the agenda is still 'TBD' for next conference I would like to discus altering the protocol to allow Streaming (the response in particular). There are a couple of not so obvious things that are required to allow for streaming, particular in the case of error handling. I'll try to get some reading out - should I put that on a wiki page? I was going to write a full blown proposal on this but I can't seem to reserve enough time to get it finished within a reasonable time frame.
Allowing for streaming might well increase adoption rate of nmc as it's currently lacking in perfsonar and could seriously benefit current perfsonar services.(I'd even go so far as to state that it solves(together with compression) all performance problems that I know off.)
