OGF achieved major milestones in 2007 with the announcement of product implementations of the HPC Profile and demonstrations of many other OGF standards. OGF22 Program Highlights include: * A two day Specification Adoption track that will feature sessions covering the HPC Profile, Distributed Resource Management Application API (DRMAA), Simple API for Grid Applications (SAGA), Network Measurements/Network Mark-up Language, and OGSA Authorization standards as well as implementation presentations from Grid Interoperation Now (GIN), OMII-Europe, and UNICORE. * Keynote presentations from Charlie Catlett, CIO of Argonne National Laboratory, Craig Lee, OGF President, and other Grid luminaries to be announced. * Demonstrations from many of the Specification Adoption presenters at the welcome reception. * Cloud Systems BoF that will set the current cloud scene and review options for OGF activities in this emerging area that has recently garnered substantial interest. * A full day "Enabling the Next Generation IT Infrastructure" program featuring presentations and case studies on the use of Grid in the IT data center and Grid and Virtualization applications. Presentations are planned by leading IT vendors and Grid users including VMware, Intel, Platform Computing, SAS, CA, Data Synapse and many others. * Half day workshops focused on the challenges and opportunities facing the Financial Services and Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Life Sciences industries as they continue to deploy leading edge Grid solutions.
