(and for staying until the afternoon of the last day of the meeting). To those of you who attended the first BOF at GGF12 in Brussels and were unable to attend this one, I have CCed you and hope you can resume participation. I summarize the results of our meeting at GGF15 as follows: 1.We agree to proceed with the formation of the RG with Geoff Fox and myself as chairs. Others are welcome to volunteer for position as chair and/or secretary. Attached is a draft charter for comment (see zip file). This charter was originally drafted in the fall of 2004 after the initial BOF meeting at GGF12 in Brussels. 2.Our first action is to plan a workshop to consist of 10-15 presentations on work being done within our organizations on reliability and robustness. The workshop is to take place either at GGF16 in Athens or an interim GGF meeting that may occur in the first part of next year. I have created a draft workshop call which is attached for comment in the zip file. Let's give ourselves until October 24 to comment on this (or longer if someone needs it). Then I will organize a telephonic conference to finalize the details of the call statement and the plan to execute the workshop. The telephonic should take place in late October. 3. I will set up a web page for our prospective RG either with GGF (with Geoff's help) or within my own organization. 4. For those of you who requested it, I will add your email addresses to the original GGF email list for the BOF. (Those of you who made no request will not be added). 5. A copy of my presentation is attached in the zip file. The scope and goals statements are part of the charter, so please comment. Please note that I will be unable to attend to items 3 and 4 until the week of October 17. I will be out of the office next week.
