OGF 27 UPDATE: ONE WEEK TO GO
OGF 27 is co-locating with Summit 09: Partnerships in CI Development in Banff, Canada
during October 12 - 16, 2009. The week-long event brings together an international gathering
of developers, suppliers, and users who push the capabilities of cloud computing, Web 2.0,
advanced networks and other emerging cyberinfrastructure.

Summit 09 Cloud Challenge -- Deadline Extended!
Summit 09 is hosting a live cloud challenge and is inviting entries for live demonstrations
of the deployment and orchestration of cloud-based services using underlying grid

Has Your Research Been Transformed by Cyberinfrastructure?
Researchers who have seen their work transformed -- either from collaborations made
possible, remote instrumentation accessed, or mountains of data rendered intelligible --
are invited to participate on a panel and share their story. If you would like to take part,
Opening Reception - Tuesday, October 13
Join us for drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and a chance to mingle and network with fellow
Summit 09 participants in the Max Bell Foyer and Lounge from 18:30 - 21:30.
Also that evening, Summit 09 will offer a special Banff edition of CloudCamp,
hosted by Reuven Cohen, the founder of Cloud Camp, as well as the Unified Cloud
Interface Project, and the Cloud Interoperability Forum. This mini-event is an "unconference"
where early adapters of Cloud Computing technologies exchange ideas and share
thoughts in open discussions.
