Hi, As was posted previously in the maillist (http://www.ogf.org/pipermail/graap-wg/2006-October/000499.html), I would like to update the current document with the improved WSDL definition to address several issues. Sure, the recommended improvements was already posted to the maillist (http://www.ogf.org/pipermail/graap-wg/2006-October/000499.html). It has been over a month and nobody seems to reject those improvements, I would like to start to have them documented. Now, the question is of course which is the latest version of the document I should work on as a basis? Best wishes, Tianchao t-nakata@cw.jp.nec.com wrote:

Hi Tianchao, the time you did sent the the WSDL the spec was already frozen except for editorial changes. As Toshi wrote you should post the changes as comment to the tracker. The public comment period ends end of November. You should use the version of the spec as base that is used for the public comments: https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/sfmain/do/downloadAttachment/projects.ggf-edi... The changes only improves specific details of WSDL and not affecting the other part of the specification document (kind of editorial changes?). But I was not sure whether I should provide the updated WSDLs as separate files or directly update the WSDL in the word file. In fact, the my post to the maillist on Oct. 5th already contains the updated WSDLs, and nobody objects these improvements but still nobody has committed to change the word file accordingly. That's why I'm proposing to change the word file directly. Regards, Tianchao Wolfgang Ziegler wrote:

Tianchao: Please repost your proposal to https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/discussion/do/listTopics/projects.ggf-editor/... (I think either an updated WSDL file or a file with just the changes should be fine.) That way, it will be officially recorded so that it can be tracked. Best Regards Toshi

Hi, I noticed that WS-Notification is missing in the current specification: 1. notification of agreement acceptance is currently via custom port type. 2. the agreement status port does not extend the WS-Notification port type. Are there any specific reasons? Best regards, Tianchao Li ==================== Research Staff Institut fuer Informatik, TU Muenchen Germany http://www.lrr.in.tum.de/~lit

This was in order to make it possible for implementations which do not use WS-Notification. Best Regards Toshi

Dear Tianchao, please send this as input to the public comments. We will discuss the issue with the authors and especially wrt to interoperability issues that might arise having implementations including WS-Negotiation and such without. Best regards Wolfgang Tianchao Li schrieb:
