Glue 2.1 draft as implemented in XSEDE

This is a note by way of saying that XSEDE has just released a new version of IPF, our Information publishing framework that publishes data about XSEDE resources in a Glue2 schema. The new version, 1.4, publishes Accelerator information (at least for resources using SLURM—it hasn’t been implemented for all schedulers), based off of an earlier draft of the Glue2.1 draft spec. It appears to me that what has changed between that version of the 2.1 draft and the current 2.1 draft are cosmetic differences—some of the new entities have different names in the most recent draft. I will update IPF to publish under the 2.1 standard once it is final (IPF 1.4 was too far along in the testing process by the time I realized there were changes to make it practicable to make the schema changes for this release). GLUE WG folks So, XSEDE (Eric and JP) will support the proposed 2.1 schema. Thanks, JP
