Hi all, I was trying to access GLUE2 github area to create the enumerations repositories and create a LDAP experimental branch. Does anyone know how it works to get write access? I don't see anything to request it... Thanks, -- Florido Paganelli Lund University - Particle Physics ARC Middleware EMI Project

Hi Florido, I've created it in the past and I can add you if you give me your github userid. On which repository you would like to be enabled? XML/LDAP/SQL? I could also enable JP and Shiraz as owners of the group so that they can manage it as well. Cheers, Sergio On 15 October 2012 12:27, Florido Paganelli <florido.paganelli@hep.lu.se> wrote:

My github username is floridop. enable me on the LDAP one, but I will need to create an additional repository for open enumerations, separated from the rendering ones, as decided in one of the meetings. You can create it for me and enable me rw on that. maybe just call it OpenEnumerations or Enumerations. Anybody has nicer ideas on the name?

Ok for me, if they agree Thanks for the help, Florido

Dear Florido, Unless you are a maintainer, I would clone the repository into your own space on github, and make a pull request. This encourages code review and is a good way of contributors contributing without the confusion caused by mixing contributors and maintainers. Hope it helps. Ah ok this is the good way of doing it. I will do like that next time, I already branched LDAP now and it's me and it will be me and Laurence working on it. I think the group can consider us as maintainers, since Laurence was in charge of the last changes previous to mine, and I've been proposing some while reviewing the LDAP rendering document. The branch will be deleted if the group will agree on a merge, I just wanted to keep things tidy. I will update the README so it is clear what are the contents of the branch. For the Enumerations repository, I am the official maintainer I guess, as nobody else is taking care of that and I was coordinating the initiative since the beginning. Thanks for the hints! Cheers, Florido
Hope it helps.
Regards
Owen
