Hi all, We have a problem. I was searching for reference documents to Glue1 today and I couldn't find any. Appartently the one and only: https://forge.ogf.org/sf/go/doc14185 has been removed from sourceforege and never moved to redmine. Anybody who has a copy willing to add it back in redmine? I am also searching for references on how it is used in the current EGI/OpenGrid deployment, probably some of you can give me pointers. Hi Sergio, thanks. I spotted those, but I though they were not up to date. The reason is that I was searching for a clear definition of what goes into GlueVoView objects... any suggestion where to look for? Are these object specific to EGEE/EGI? Hi Florido, The Computing Element was usually mapped to an entry point, a queue and associated resources in a batch system. When batch queues started to be enabled for different VOs with different quotas, there was the issue on how to discover how much free slots were available per VO. To maintain backwards compatibility, the VOView was added to replicate some of the attributes of the ComputingElement, but with information specific to the VO. This would give dynamic information to support meta-scheduling. In GLUE 2.0, we addressed this issue with a different approach (separating endpoint and share). The doc should have been migrated -- it is now under http://redmine.ogf.org/dmsf/glue-wg?folder_id=5705 - is that the right one? Best, Andre. On Tue, Dec 3, 2013 at 11:34 AM, Florido Paganelli <florido.paganelli@hep.lu.se> wrote:
