What we've moving to in XSEDE is to use this set of states for computing activities: ipf:pending ipf:held ipf:starting ipf:running ipf:suspended ipf:terminating ipf:terminated ipf:finishing ipf:finished ipf:failed ipf:unknown (IPF is the name of the information gathering tool we're using). We're generating Computing Activities for jobs managed by cluster schedulers. In addition, we're also including the native state in the State list of each Computing Activity in the <scheduler>:<state> format. The <scheduler> is all lower case such as "htcondor", "lsf", "moab", "pbs", "sge", or "slurm". We've heard from the OGF editors. Our LDAP specification (GFD-RP.218) should get published at: https://www.ogf.org/documents/GFD.218.pdf As discussed, the schema will be at (note http rather than https): http://schemas.ogf.org/glue/2014/07/GLUE20.schema.ldap I've attached a slightly updated schema and rendering doc. FLORIDO: Could you please take care of the FIXES in the *ldap.schema and send back your final version? I can take care of final *.doc changes (replace appending schema) and submit it for final review. Thanks, JP

Hi, Warren shared recent JSON rendering efforts. Shared bindings he developed that should be very useful to developers. Shiraz volunteered to upgrade Warren's bindings to Maven. Done. An example maven project file has been created and can be downloaded from [1]. It uses jsonschema2pojo maven plugin, which takes json schemas as an input and generates Java sources in the configured output folder.
