[Fwd: Modeling Guidelines document in public review -- please comment]

Hi everybody, I recommend the reading of the document written by Fred. The public comment phase will end next Monday, nevertheless it is worth reading for everybody involved in information modeling. Cheers, Sergio -------- Messaggio Originale -------- Oggetto: Modeling Guidelines document in public review -- please comment Data: Tue, 4 Sep 2007 18:14:45 -0700 Da: Fred Maciel <Fred.Maciel@hds.com> A: <balazs.konya@hep.lu.se>, "Laurence Field" <Laurence.Field@cern.ch>, "Sergio Andreozzi" <sergio.andreozzi@cnaf.infn.it> Balazs, Laurence, Sergio, As you know, my "Guidelines for Information Modeling for OGSA(TM) Entities" document is currently in public comment. This document explains the process to create information models for OGSA in collaboration with the DMTF (Distributed Management Task Force). It is the fruit of more than two years of work by many people to educate the OGF on the DMTF technologies, and to find ways for the two organizations to collaborate. Could you please review this document and post a comment on GridForge? As you know, these comments are important for the document to be approved and, in fact, even short comments such as "this is a good document" are valuable (of course, regardless of the need for approval, I value your opinion). The deadline is on the 10th (yes, next Monday -- sorry for the late request). The page with documents in public comment is: http://www.ogf.org/gf/docs/?public_comment The page for this document is below. You can post a comment if you are logged in in GridForge. https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/discussion/do/listTopics/projects.ggf-edi tor/discussion.info_guidelines_for_ogsa_info_mo Finally, please feel free to forward this e-mail to the GLUE-WG.
