Hi all,

Please find attached a pdf that I hope summarises the flat vs nested XML renderings and their pros/cons.

The pdf also includes some other (less important) style choices for the flat rendering (i.e. whether to use Grouping elements, BaseType attributes or both).  I have tried to include all recent comments.
