Hi all,
GOCDB has received a request to add a new service type, summarised below. As per the lightweight review process, please raise any concerns about this proposal on the GGUS ticket by the end of 20th April: https://ggus.eu/index.php?mode=ticket_info&ticket_id=151177
* name of the service: ch.cern.rucio
* high-level description of the service functionality: Rucio is a distributed data management service that provides scientific collaborations with the functionality to organize, manage, and access their data at scale. The data can be distributed across heterogeneous data centres around the world.
* project/community/organization maintaining the software: Rucio is a community project that is primary supported by CERN: https://rucio.cern.ch/
* scope of deployment (number of instances and by which organizations): ~10 instances around the world including:
* ATLAS and CMS at CERN
* Dune at FermiLab
* Belle 2 at BNL
* Mutli-VO instance at RAL
