Hi all, A while back we were looking for references that define the string representation of DNs and couldn't find anything for the openssl "/" form; I just came across this, which is perhaps better than nothing: https://forge.gridforum.org/sf/docman/do/downloadDocument/projects.caops -wg/docman.root.working_drafts/doc13741 (section 5). Sadly that refers to http://www.math.ias.edu/doc/openssl-0.9.7a/openssl.txt which just gives a 404 ... Stephen -- Scanned by iCritical.

glue-schema package and updated BDII

Hi, I have updated the glue-schema package and the BDII to use GLUE2.0. If any one is interested the packages can be found at the following URLs. http://etics-repository.cern.ch:8080/repository/download/registered/org.gli… http://etics-repository.cern.ch:8080/repository/download/registered/org.gli… An instance with the examples has been installed on glue-bdii.cern.ch ldapsearch -x -h glue-bdii -p 2170 -b o=glue It it currently under testing and if all goes smoothly we will submit an EGEE patch on Monday to include it in the gLite release. XML schema for GLUE 2.0

Hi, I found a GLUE2 XML schema at http://schemas.ogf.org/glue/2008/05/spec_2.0_d42_r01, but it is not very consistent with GLUE spec v. 2.0. Is there an updated one consistent with GLUE 2 conceptual model? Thanks! Cheers, Weijian

Hi, I have set up a BDII on the machine glue-bdii.cern.ch with the examples from subversion. ldapsearch -x -h glue-bdii.cern.ch -p 2170 -b o=glue Please can some confirm that this machine is reachable from outsite CERN. Thanks Laurence

Glue LDAP Rendering

The minutes of the last meeting have been added to the wiki. The next meeting is scheduled for 16:00 CET on Friday 5th June. There were three items that require attention and have been highlighted in this mail. 1) The placement of Foreign Keys was discussed and the result is documented on the following page. http://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.glue-wg/wiki/LDAPFo… Unless anyone has any disagreements, what is currently document will be taken as the official result by the end of the next meeting. 2) It was also agree that need to have a fixed root entry for the DN, however, we still need some inspiration on what this should be. o=grid, o=glue, etc. 3) The Grouping discussions requires input from Balazs. If the DIT is enforced, most use cases can be met by doing a subtree query. However, there may still be a need for a generic grouping object. If the DIT is enforced we need to define where this object is placed. Regards, Laurence
