Hey Dave, EGEE is in the loop with Steven Newhouse and developers from gLite (i.e. Moreno Marzolla) while I have close contacts to Valerio Venturi. Sorry for the late announcement in GIN, but gLite/EGEE is surely already considered as a valuable contributor to PGI. Anyway, any members of GIN that would like to contribute to PGI are warmly welcome! Its a shame there wasn't more notice of this meeting. If I missed an earlier notice, my apologies.

I am sure EGEE would like to attend. I am sending this to our security coord group to see if sometime can join. I can't as I will be travelling then. Sorry!

EGEE is involved in many different standards security activities; middleware, operations, policy, IGTF authN and authZ, etc. What will the agenda and discussions cover.

the Production Grid Infrastructure (PGI) group has a telcon tomorrow that is about security in production Grids by reviewing existing models and discussing PGI security standardization elements.

Any member of a production Grid (especially with expertise in this field) is welcome to join!

Also, a participation in the PGI group in general may be also beneficial for you(r) (Grid) in order to influence the PGI standardization process with experience of your production Grid infrastructure.
