Dear GIN Team, my name is Gian Luca Volpato and I work for the Computing Centre of the Leibniz University Hannover (Germany). On behalf of the German grid initiative D-Grid (www.d-grid.de) I would like to extend our involvement in the field of interoperability between different grid projects. Already within D-Grid we are offering a very heterogeneous environment, based on three different grid middlewares: Globus, gLite and Unicore. We are now very interested in getting in contact with you in order to become member of the GIN Testbed and offer part of our resources to selected pilot test applications. Hoping that our proposal matches your objectives I look forward to receiving your reply and comments. Dear Gian Luca Volpato, You are very welcome to join gin-ops work. Please email me your site contact and resource info, I'll add them to http://goc.pragma-grid.net/gin/gin-people.html http://goc.pragma-grid.net/gin/gin-resources.html and http://goc.pragma-grid.net/cgi-bin/scmsweb/probe.cgi. When our application work resumes, the application driver will contact your supporters. Our application drivers for Savannah fire simulation are also interested in develop Nimrod interfaces to other grid systems, one of which is unicore. You can find detail info about what we've been doing at http://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.gin/wiki/GinOps. Let us know any suggestions and thoughts. Thank you very much, Cindy ________________________________ From: gin-ops-bounces@ogf.org [mailto:gin-ops-bounces@ogf.org] On Behalf Of Gian Luca Volpato Sent: Thursday, July 19, 2007 8:58 AM To: gin-ops@ogf.org Subject: [gin-ops] Collaboration in interoperability tests Dear GIN Team, my name is Gian Luca Volpato and I work for the Computing Centre of the Leibniz University Hannover (Germany).
