Hello all. I am a research assistant at the Computing Department in Lancaster University, UK. I am working on the EC-GIN project, which was introduced by Sven Hessler during the GHPN session at OGF20. Europe-China Grid InterNetworking (EC-GIN) is an EU-funded project* concerned with improving the network ability to support Grid applications and services. One of the first tasks as part of the project is to study Grid applications that have been used or are currently being used in the field of e-science as well as other fields. We wish to come up with an analysis of the network demands and behavior of these applications. As Sven mentioned in his presentation, we need your help in obtaining network information about Grid applications that you have been involved with. I will shortly be sending out a link to a brief online questionnaire. We would really appreciate if you (or a member of your team) can spare a few minutes to fill out the questionnaire.
