Re: [et-cg] Minutes of the GGF18 ET-WG sessions
That is great work Kathryn and very much appreciated. Your help in setting this up and getting things started is very much appreciated. I am at the e-IRG workshop in Espoo at present. I have a plan to add all of the active people in e-IRG to the ET-WG mail and wiki lists so that we can pool our efforts developing educational and training ideas and so that we can have a global reach and consistency when developing policy. I have added to the mailing list all of you who gave me your email addresses at the recent GGF18 meetings. There are a few people who attended but didn't provide their email addresses, but I hope to get those addresses through OGF shortly. Attached please find the minutes for the sessions which took place on Wednesday 13th and the Frameworks session of Thursday 14th. Please let me know if you would like any amendments made. These will shortly be available via the GridForge project site too along with documents from the BOF sessions at GGF17 and GGF16. As we agreed to use the wiki for collaborative documents going forward, I have added those of you whom I could find in GridForge to the ET-CG project. It will be necessary for the rest of you to create a GridForge account (if you do not already have one) and request membership of the ET-CG group. To create a GridForge account please go to the url http://forge.gridforum.org/sf/sfmain/do/createUser Once you have successfully created an account you can either send me the login name and I will add you to the group, or alternatively go to http://forge.gridforum.org/sf/sfmain/do/home and log in. This will take you to your own personal GridForge page where you should see the ET-CG listed as one of your projects if you have already been added. If you have not been added then click on the 'Projects' tab at the top of your GridForge page then click on 'All Projects'. You can now navigate through the list of projects until you find ET-CG (note it's CG even though I believe we are officially a working group!). Select the project and click on 'Request Membership'. This should send a membership request through to me and I will try to process these requests quickly! Some of the work we did during the GGF18 sessions is already available in the wiki so we can begin work on these topics straight away. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks, Kathryn.
Thanks Kathryn for setting this up. I look forward to the on-line discussion. Stephenie RENCI Malcolm Atkinson wrote:
