Wolfram Research adopts Java DRMAA for gridMathematica
Good news! The Mathematica integration package available from http://www.wolfram.com/products/gridmathematica/extras.html is based on Java DRMAA. Regards, Andreas
Andreas, This is great news!. Do you have more info about this?. What JAVA binding version is used by GridMathematica?. GridWay provides support for the 0.61 JAVA binding since the 5.0 release (june 2006) and as soon as ready we will provide support for the 1.0 JAVA binding. Please, how can we update the GridWay info in the DRMAA wiki?, we would like to mention our support of the JAVA binding. Also, we would like to include references to our implementation of the DRMAA testsuite using the Java bindings that is available in the Globus CVS at http://viewcvs.globus.org/viewcvs.cgi/gridway/examples/drmaaTestSuite/. This testsuie will be updated for the 1.0 binding. By the way, congratulations for the DRMAA paper! Ignacio

From what I know it uses DRMAA Java 0.5 as supported in Grid Engine since 6.0u4, but Dan might know better.

Try 'signing in' through regular Wiki user interface. AFAIR this generates a Wiki account automagically. That should suffice.
By the way, congratulations for the DRMAA paper!
Thanks, yet most of the kudos really go to Peter ;-) Regards, Andreas
When you want to edit the DRMAA Wiki for the first time, the trick is to enter both a new user name and a new password. Use a Wiki name as user name ("PeterTroeger"). This should create a new account on the fly. The mechanism is not intended to prevent editing by humans, but only to avoid Wiki spam. Thanks for adding your information. Regards, Peter. I have tried to sign in but I obtain a "Invalid password or userid".

Peter, I have already added information. Thanks!

Hi Ignacio, This is great news! Peter Troeger could enable Wiki access for GridWay members, so you could make changes to DRMAA pages regarding GridWay DRMAA updates whenever needed. Another thing ... The group benefited greatly from the GridWay feedback when we were submitting the language independent OGF Recommendation Candidate DRMAA document. Could the GridWay members go thru the IDL or Java document in the next few weeks once the documents are released for the last comment call? Thanks, Hrabri
