Congratulations to all for making DRMAA spec a full OGF recommendation document. Do not forget to make a toast to it today. The best Hrabri
By the way, as GridWay is part of the Globus toolkit 4.0.5, we can claim that DRMAA is implemented by the Globus toolkit. Regards, Ignacio -- Ignacio M. Seems like all dreams came true this week. Full recommendation status, a (real) part of Globus, and the long-demanded LSF interface. Thanks to all the implementors, since without your work we wouldn't have been able to convince OGF of the feasibility of the spec. With this impressive amount of practical experience, we now have the perfect starting point for the next phase of DRMAA. BTW, this is also the time to say very special thanks to Hrabri. He acts somehow as the glue of the group, and takes care all the communication with OGF officials in the background. Best regards, Peter. Am 02.10.2007 um 11:58 schrieb Ignacio Martin Llorente:

Hi, that's great news! In addition to this please find attached our implementation report for LSF DRMAA. Together with Platform Computing we will release LSF DRMAA as open source and setup a mailing list/wiki for drmaa end users. In the next few weeks we also plan to release Open DRMAA Service Provider (OpenDSP) v1.1 after some tests, changes and useful extensions we have added. This great news Chris, The implementation seems to be in very good shape. Do you want us to start a short internal review process before it goes to the OGF steering committee, or you would like to do few more revisions? Thanks Hrabri

yeah, the LSF DRMAA implementation is in a good shape, and we do not expect many changes in the library so you can start a review process from now... Thanks, Chris
