[Fwd: Re: [Condor-users] DRMAA interface]
Great news from the Condor guys. I will do my best to work on the completion of the library when the source code comes out. From my experience, the implementation of libcondordrmaa is not complete and has some annoying bugs. I would therefore suggest to spend some time in writing a native Java DRMAA implementation for Condor. The libcondordrmaa works with temporary job submission files, the same could work for a Java library.
If we would have the sources of libcondordrmaa, then it would also be possible to fix the bugs ;-) ...
Good point. The DRMAA library was written without needing the rest of the Condor codebase, so we've got no problems releasing it. I think I've probably missed the cutoff for getting them into the 6.7.7 release, but we'll put them up seperately for now, and then get them into a future releases. -Erik _______________________________________________ Condor-users mailing list Condor-users@cs.wisc.edu https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/mailman/listinfo/condor-users
