Dan and Pete are making lots of progress on IDL and Java bindings documents. There are few not agreed issues that require a broader group to flesh out, so they will start sending them to the list and/or file them as trackers. At best, it will take two more weeks for Peter and Dan to finish the work. Regarding the new documents: IDL doc should/could be made as OGF recommendation documents, while Java and C bindings documents are best suited as OGF informational documents, since they already have respective implementations and at some point of time broader specifications ready.
