Hi Hrabri, the entry page cannot be customized directly, as the data on it are pulled from a data base. You can extend/change these infos in the database however, as I said below: for that, you can use the tools from the 'living charter' project which Joel created. Joel, could you forward Hrabri the links to the tools? I did not bookmark them *blush* That sounds more complicated then a wiki entry page, we know. The motivation is: - to provide a uniform entry page - to have the important group info (charter, milestones, chair infos etc) available in a data base, to allow for consistent usage in various places, and for the GGF roadmap etc. - ADs and chairs etc are supposed to be able to check for milestones and progress by querying the data base Cheers, Andre. Thx Andre,
We would like to customize the entry page.
Are there any customized pages already available?
Thx
Hrabri

The groups facade is in place - please check out http://forge.ggf.org/sf/projects/drmaa-wg
I would like to encourage you to have a custom entry page on the integrated wiki, if the group facade is not good enough for your purposes. Alternatively, it is possible to change/extend the information used for the group facade.
Cheers, Andre.
PS.: a cache refresh might be needed to see the change

Sorry for the inconvenience. We'll definitely send a note to all groups when we are done, hopefully still this week.
Thanks, Andre.

In sum, we talk about a moving target. Too bad. We will wait with
major
changes until someone declares GridForge as stable again.

Hi Folx,
sorry that this is not obvious rtight now, but the startup page will be automatically created from the data base info (charter, milestones, mailing list info etc). That should be in place tomorrow.
It might be interesting to you that its possible to integrate drmaa.org into an additional tool button in GF. The project admin should find a respective option in the project configuration section. Let me know if you want that, and need help.
Cheers,
Andre.

I am OK with both. For the second proposal we would need to check if GGF has any imposed templates for the group starting pages.

GGF claims everything on there pages ... and stick its copyright.
