Clearly the standards that we use to define the profile are part of the work the group has to go through. At this stage the bigger question is are there other functional capabilities that have been missed off here that should be present and identified as part of the profile. And is this relevant for DCIFed?
As regards the privacy issues... yes they exist... but are they not a deployment issue? The profile is unlikely to say that these records must be publicly exposed, only that they are emitted in some mechanism. They may then feed straight out into the internet or into a closed data centre billing record. The main thing is that the virtualisation manager has become an appliance in its own right that can be plugged into infrastructure.
