WS-DAIR and stored procedures

Hi Steve, I've added the MySQL stored procedures we used for OGSA-DAI WS-DAIR testing to this page in a ZIP: http://forge.gridforum.org/sf/wiki/do/viewPage/projects.dais-wg/wiki/OGSADA… The page contains info on how I set up MySQL with database, user, dair_littleblackbook test table and stored procedures. Dear Mike Jackson, I have tested interoperabilty between an AMGA client and an OGSA-DAI WSDAIR server. Please find the attached, the test result. (I will upload it to the wiki) It seems that they are very interoperable. And can I have a OGSA-DAI WSDIAR Client with document/literal binding ? (It seems that the OGSADAI webpage only has a rpc/literal version.) I am planning to test interoperabilty between an AMGA server and an OGSA-DAI WSDAIR cleint. Best Regards, Sunil Ahn.

[SA] Come up with a list of operations and properties that have and have not been implemented for the AMGA DAIR implementation. [MJ] To send stored procedure details used by the OGSA-DAI implementation to Steven. [All] Comment on Sunil's changes to the WSDL. [MAA] Produce an experiences document skeleton. Completed Action ---------------- [MAA] To come up with a test plan for WS-DAIR. Done - well documented passed to Steven. +--- MAA passed a very rough document to Steven Lynden. Steven looking at it at the moment and hoping to produce something for comment by the end of the week. Discussion about the dataSet format URI. Steven wanted to specify one but after discussion it was decided that this should be configurable. Any dataset format URI is ok. OGSA-DAI have a document that states which operations have been implemented and which have not been implemented. No documentation for AMGA about what has been implemented and not been implemented. Sunil will try to produce one. GenericQuery discussion. It is currently deemed to be an optional operation. Steven thought it was too generic to test but Mario thought it served a purpose. Discussion of which operations have been or not been implemented. SQLCommunicationsArea, output parameters are just stored procedure. GetSQLReturnValue requires stored procedures. AMGA implementation does not use stored procedures - should make some of these operations optional as this is likely to be a generic requirement. SQLCommunicationsArea should be optional too. May recommend this a s a spec change. Agree on the database to have the same table name and column names. Shall use littleblackbook, test database used by OGSA-DAI, for the test schema and also have stored procedures for MySQL. Mike will send the stored procedure information to Steven Lynden. Sunil sent out document on the changes on the WSDL he had to make for his implementation. Sunil would like comments back on this. Mike will provide Sunil with comments on the interop doc and send a document/literal client to Sunil. Elias from EPCC found a bug in the OGSA-DAI WS-DAIR - cannot return more than 1000 rows. This ill not affect interop but it may affect performance evaluations. Not sure when this will be fixed. Completed Actions ----------------- [SL] Get a list of the most recent changes that have been made to the RDF query specification by the AIST implementor. Publicise any changes that have been made (tracker/mailing list). Only one change that is not a typo - most are typos - extend end point reference for a factory type. Problems extending it with JAXB - there are some other ways of getting round this. SL will see if there are other ways of getting round this without changing the factory message type. At most it will turn out to be an issue if one is using JAXB. [MEG] Get Carlos (ADMIRE developer) to join the DAIS mailing list and encourage him to participate in the spec process. Already on the mailing list. He will participate in the spec process. May attend future calls. [SL] Create a set of subdirectories in the SVN repository for the RDF ontology and query wsdl/xsd. Done. People should have a look. [MAA] Move the old ontology document into the old documents folder. Done. ---- Motivational document - it looks like Isao may have more time in the near future to work on this document. Query document is almost there - needs a bit of an update. Ontology - no progress, Miguel is too busy. AIST has a partial implementation of an older version of the ontology zeroth profile. UPM are progressing with an implementation of the query spec. AIST has addressed the issues that Carlos, the implementor, run into. Miguel will not be able to attend the next call but he will try to see if Carlos can make it in his place.
