NYC Can't Force Retirees To Switch Benefits, Judge Rules

A New York state judge preliminarily enjoined New York City on Friday from forcing over 250,000 retirees to switch to a privatized Medicare Advantage plan from traditional Medicare and supplemental insurance, ruling the court will likely find the actions unlawful under city code.
