Will Greece goo boom?

I am wondering: Will Greece go boom relatively soon? The reasons are Greece owns significant amounts of money (like the u$a) and they can't pay. This might be an opportunity to see how a country goes boom in modern times (after we know know what happens to cities like Detroit).
