i thought a possible spam thread could be talking to a language model. i thought i’d try the newish yarn model with 128k context length maybe i could run it in colab or i dunno. possible model: https://huggingface.co/NousResearch/Yarn-Llama-2-13b-128k smaller quantized variant of model: https://huggingface.co/TheBloke/Yarn-Llama-2-13B-128K-GPTQ the quantized one is under 8GB. there are also smaller variants.. people are likely hosting it on free api servers somewhere. i’m not presently looking at that.

i’m looking at lm-infinite a little bit, maybe i can make steps on making it work paper: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2308.16137.pdf partial implementation: https://github.com/kyegomez/LM-Infinite/blob/main/infinite/main.py it seems like the theory is that if out-of-context tokens are moved to the very start of the context window in some empirically-determined way, results on long context outputs radically increase in quality the partial implementation doesn’t include the new calculation of position encodings, which is different depending on the model the length extension is applied to.

This village-idiots-convention is off to a bad start by implying cypherpunks are picking winners in the cryptocurrency market. So long as some non-POW coins ( like Avax & Eth ) play a role, they support a growing economic pie, that, in turn, supports cryptoanarchism. So punks must be platform agnostic in the blockchain arena. This is so obvious I feel stupid even mentioning it! Claiming Phil Zimmerman as cypherpunk compounds the huge, gaping category error these morons started with. Even if this publically non-cypherpunk activist has changed his mind about us, I've yet to see him play any meaningful role. He squibbed the chance to link Blackphone to anarchy. Fortunately!
