I propose that we modify the MICS draft to also fit "self-service" CAs that serve entire (national) federations, so that support a membership that spans more than one organization. This would fit quite well with the upcoming SWITCHaai based CA, and is not too far off from the current draft. I'm willing to volunteer and edit the current MICS draft to include federations, as well as incorporating the text on the "time-shifted" IdM requirements that is in the current Classic 4.1b2 draft. In the end, the MICS would have these IdM requirements, and they need not be incorporated in Classic. As we (very briefly) discussed in Ottawa: this MICS version would have the F2F requirement to be as close as possible to the classic in terms of identity vetting. We can then later add other assurance levels as soon as RPs need them, and (maybe) do that across all profiles. Agreed? If so, I'll try to send you all a new draft in 1-2 days. So we will have plenty to discuss during the CAOPS#2 session as well :-) Cheers, DavidG.
... Also I would like some interaction about the Bridge-CA working group that we formed in Ottawa, to report on its status and keep that discussion going.
Quite true. Can be in either session as far as I'm concerned ...

Ok. I've been negligent in putting together an agenda for the CAOPS WG so far. Thanks for reminding me!
We already have two sessions reserved. Usually we've used an entire one and half hour session for CAOPS-related papers, and one session for IGTF-related discussion. We could subdivide one session, of course.
Does anyone else want to add anything else to the agenda? Please tell me and I'll try to add it to the agenda.

Hello Alan, As far as I remember the OCSP document was *almost* finished, so maybe it could be a good idea to finally release it at GGF18....doesn't it?
That should certainly be on it. Other points for CAOPS and IGTF:
CAOPS - OCSP document - Certificate Profile - Federation Glossary (continued from the Tokio discussions) - AP document template
IGTF - MICS profile assignment - plenary discussion and (hopefully) some resolution of the Classic issues - official handover of IGTF chairmanship to Yoshio :-)
Darcy, as the only CAOPS chair left to fully function these days, can you get the regular two slots for CAOPS in Washington?
Best regards, Oscar and Jesus

It would be nice to compile a list of topics and sessions of interest for CA operations and related topics at GGF 18. Does anyone have such a list started?
