Re: [CCGT] Re: Astro-RG/ IVOA joint one day workshop
Nic, There is no specific form for workshop proposals -- just one or two pages that clearly describes the topic and goals of the workshop, the organizers, and the potential speakers, along with any other relevant information, such as other RGs and WGs that might be involved (or should be involved). Clearly we want to support the work of the Astro-RG and the IVOA, in addition to getting good cross-pollination with the rest of GGF ;-> --Craig At 01:11 PM 2/12/2006, Nicholas Walton wrote:

Nic,
We should definitely make sure this happens. It's not too soon to start planning. The official deadline for GGF-17 workshops should be a week after GGF-16. Did you want to structure it just as a set of watercooler talks, or did you want to try to get peer-reviewed talks with a proceedings?

Hi Nic,
Thanks. Am forwarding to the communicy council so that it can be discussede ASAP. The GGF17 program is yet to be formulated, but make sure it is on the radar.
GGF17 should be a pretty gigantic event being coupled with GridWorld Tokyo.
