OASIS SDD TC Formal requirements

Dear ACS WG members, attached you will find a link to a document that has been approved by the OASIS Solution Deployment Descriptor Technical Committee as the formal requirements for the SDD specification. This document is a result of compilation of over 200 use cases brought by TC members including representatives from your workgroup. We appreciate your input and we believe that we have captured the requirements needed to meet your use cases. Please take a look at the requirements and provide feedback through your representative, Keisuke Fukui. In addition to these requirements, in our recent face to face meeting the SDD TC voted to work with representatives of the ACS WG to try to converge ACS's AAD with relevant portions of the SDD. Work has already begun in this area and we look forward to agreeing on a converged mapping of key elements necessary in both sets of specifications. We understand that you are nearing approval of your V1.0 specification and any changes would most likely be reflected in later versions of the ACS specification but we believe this convergence is important to industry acceptance of both specifications and look forward to working with your representatives on this matter. Folks in acs-wg, As mentioned in the Tom's message, SDD TC agreed to work on the converging AAD into relevant part of the SDD. The initial proposal is already presented by Mr. Randy George. It can be publicly viewable through the below link: http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/document.php?document_id=18471&wg_abbrev=sdd I welcome this proposal since it contains necessary information in the current AAD and I believe the ACS Repository Interface can work with it with a simple translation of the SDD format document. To make this even easier, the IUDD V2 descriptor was split into one that contains AAD equivalent information and the other that contain deployment information which is optional. I'd like to hear your opinion or comments on this to give a feedback to the SDD TC. Replies to the message is fine. I am also planning to have a teleconference to hear your voice. I propose an irregular date in order to give a feedback at the next SDD TC telecon. ACS Telecon Candidate Date & Time: Jun 5 Mon 20:00 EDT/Jun 6 Tue 9:00 JST or Jun 6 Tue 20:00 EDT/Jun 7 Wed 9:00 JST Please let me know if either doesn't work for you. Otherwise I would arrange the meeting with the first candidate date. Thanks in advance! -Keisuke Thomas Studwell wrote:

I examined the presentation - it looks very interesting. I am able to make either of those proposed telecon times and I look forward to the discussion. Keisuke Fukui wrote:

Hi all, Although SDD requirement document is publicaly available, the URL in the previous email requires OASIS membership. Please use the other URL which does not need membership. http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/download.php/17575/oasis-sdd-requiremen...
