Hi all, and sorry for the cross-posting. OGSA-WG is planning to have F2F meeting in Boston, back-to-back with GGF14. The meeting will be held on Thursday (9am-6pm) and Friday (8am-3pm) at IBM office in Boston, walking distance from GGF15 venue. The following is tentative agenda items we've listed up at Today's OGSA-WG call. - EMS architecture (CDDLM, ACS, GRAAP, RSS, JSDL, BES) - OGSA-naming session - Resource Management (info/data model) - OGSA-BES session - OGSA-data session (?) If you want to have another session or any specific day/time requirements on any of these sessions, please let me know. I am sorry for this late notice. CDDLM scenarios (Re: [ogsa-wg] Proposed agenda for Sept. 14th call)

I've read the CDDLM foundation document again and tried to correspond to OGSA-WG's three EMS scenarios. Here is my understandings; 3.1 Web Service in the Grid This scenario corresponds to OGSA-WG's server consolidation scenario #3. Even it does not refer ACS. 3.2 Commercial Data Center Obviously, it corresponds to OGSA-WG's Data Center scenario #2. However, CDC scenario does not use advanced reservation and OGSA-WG scenario #2 does not cover deployment now. 3.3 IT infrastructure and management I think it is too high level compare with OGSA-WG's scenarios. 3.4 Utility computing Model This is multiple data center version of CDDLM use case 3.2. This scenario also does not have reservation. 3.5 Complex business service It is similar to CDDLM scenario 3.1. 3.6 Web Service deployment project. It is similar to CDDLM scenario 3.1. Action: Keisuke, to send proposed modification of the section 3.2.(Done. Sep 8) Action: All, to review the Keisuke's post and make feedback on the ml by the next meeting. * Security concerns We had basically agreed that the ACS spec provides the way security policy can be supplied and maybe updated. Mike has some question about relationship between implementation and security policy enforcement. For example, if the client can specify transport level access control policy such as http or https, how and where the new AA instance is created ? We continue this discussion on the ml. * Schedule for drafting a specification There was no comment for the proposed schedule. * GGF15 sessions Keisuke submitted two 90s as session requests. http://www.ggf.org/gf/session_request/index.php?event=1&browse&order=5 There is no problem about the session schedule. Question about applications

Hi folks, I believe that ACS should contain any kind of applications. However, there would be more appropriate applicatioins for ACS. Would you instantiate which sort of application is good to be applied to ACS? Anything from business or scientific application would be good, but I prefer scientific one.
